The Best of Both Worlds

Bridging the gap between an agency and the in-house marketing team, I have over 20 years of experience in both creative and marketing roles. This has given me skills that may be precisely what your team needs.

Working in the high-pressure agency world as an art director, I have specialized in everything from pixels to print for a wide variety of clients and industries with a team of designers. These projects often had larger budgets for jobs ranging from brand development, ad campaigns, focus testing, packaging, direct mail pieces, photo/video shoots, websites, and illustrations – you name it, I’ve done it at some point. I have managed teams from 1-5 people in size.

Moving to an in-house marketing role, I am able to focus my energy entirely on the branding, messaging and look of one company. This is where I learned to love the combined power of CRM and marketing automation systems. Content creation, website design/SEO management, analyzing and reporting on results are all part of my day-to-day tasks.

In my volunteer life, I am one of the live video directors for churchathome.ca. I have been on a steering committee for a local youth drop-in center, and have raised many service dogs in training. These roles all require interaction with the public and representing the organizations in a professional way.

My ultimate objective is to work as a creative engine, taking the brief and making it a reality. To support staff and clients with whatever they need to meet goals, I work independently or as part of a team and can be trusted to produce quality results that perform.
