How to stay top-of-mind after an event.
A tradeshow is an overwhelming bombardment of noise, food, people and marketing. How do you stay memorable more than two seconds after a person leaves your booth? In OMIA’s case, we made it personal and flipped our focus onto the visitors. People like to talk about themselves, so we gave them the perfect opportunity to do that while we had the added benefit of understanding our audience even more.
Renting an old Ford Truck and turning it into a speaker’s corner with the use of some iPads, we asked people to answer a question in one minute or less. That evening we compiled the best stories and posted them to YouTube where we invited everyone to watch and share with their friends and family. We had people lining up outside of the tent to participate!
